I wanted to share my experience and feedback about Yolo Hikes, hoping it will guide other devotees on their sacred journey to Mount Kailash. For any devotee of Mahadev, visiting Mount Kailash is not just a pilgrimage—it's a profound spiritual calling, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with the divine. The question is: how do we begin such a sacred journey?

In 2023, my first attempt was unsuccessful due to an inexperienced travel agent, but by divine grace, I found Yolo Hikes and Anil Bhatia in 2024. From the beginning, Anil and his team showed their deep understanding of this spiritual quest, guiding every step with wisdom and care. This allowed me to surrender fully to the experience, focusing only on my chanting of 'Om Namah Shivaya.'

Anil Bhatia embodies a sense of calm and knowledge, a trustworthy guide for such a sacred yatra. I completed my Mount Kailash Yatra in May 2024, and his team was a constant source of support, ensuring every detail was taken care of—from food (which could have been slightly improved) to medicines, accommodations, special assistance, and oxygen when needed. Most importantly, they never left us feeling alone, as if Mahadev’s grace was with us through their presence.

I extend my deepest gratitude to Anil Bhatia and his dedicated team. I recommend Yolo Hikes, especially Anil, as your spiritual companions for anyone seeking to undertake the Mount Kailash Yatra.

I traveled to Kailash Manasarovar with my family in July 2024 with the YOLO HIKES team. The staff was accommodating and cooperative. Accommodation, food, service, and transportation were good throughout the tour. It was an Awesome, Wonderful & Memorable Yatra through the mighty Himalayas & Manasarovar Parikrama. We have completed the 3 days Parikrama of Mount Kailash, which was my lifetime achievement the abode of Sri Parvathi Parameshwar. My special thanks to the Sherpa Team for guidance & whole hearted thanks to Mr. Anil YOLO HIKES and his team who were always available to us and made our trip more comfortable. THANK YOU Yolo Hike team for making our dream come true. We had a wonderful experience and we are so proud that we chose them as our travel partner. We are extremely impressed by how they have taken care of each yatris; it was a memorable travel. 

Really well organised when it comes to Food,accommodation, transport and medical.

The trip was planned so well that we were able to touch Mount Kailash (Charan Sparsh) and also complete the parikrama within three days. Anil ji and team made the entire process and journey so easy for us. Very good accommodations and quality food provided throughout the journey. Lokesh and Kelson were very helpful and always on their feet when anybody needed anything. Highly recommend YOLO hike to family and friends!!

We contacted Yolo Hike only a few weeks before our planned trip. Even with the short notice everything was well organised, from being picked up from the airport to accomodation during the trek and afterwards.
The team were very welcoming when we first arrived. On the trail our guide was very professional but also good fun to share stories with back and forth, and the route took us through some incredible scenery.

Fabulous trek to EBC with YOLO hikes!

Tour owner and operator Anil Bhatta organized the entire tour covering all aspects of the treks - permits, registrations, hotel booking, arranging guides and porters. We met Anilji in Kathmandu and there he introduced us to Ashok our guide and sarathi for the trip. Ashok is a fabulous, knowledgeable and an amazing guide. Ashokji have been a guide for EBC treks and have taken like 30+ trips and knew the path like the back of his hand. He took care of all the arrangements, making sure we were focused on the walking and breathing through the next 12 days. At Lukla we met our three porters and Kishoreji's assistant guide Dev. Dev is another young, upcoming and warm hearted guide who made sure everything was all set for us. Dev gave us fabulous 5 star level service through the trek. All arrangements done by Yolo hikes were perfect and we had a fabulous time during the entire trip. I will highly recommend Yolo hikes and will definitely use them for all my future trip planning in Himalayas!

I embarked on this 'once in a lifetime' trek to the Everest three passes (Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo La), and also to the Everest base camp, Kala Patthar, Gokyo Ri, Nangkar peak and Island peak base camp. My tour organizer was Yolohike Pvt Ltd based in Kathmandu. I have been using their services for a while and hence my trust on Yolohike is solid. But this time they outdid themselves. While they provided me with every possible service and care, they stood apart from the other tour organizers. Below are the highlights that put Yolohike in a completely different league of tour organizers:
1. Guiding me on the requirements for the 21-day trek for 3-4 months before the trek (physical preparation, stuff to carry, clothing, etc.)
2. Picking me up from the airport in a private air-conditioned vehicle, accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Kathmandu, arranging Pashupatinath darshan on day-1, getting an experienced guide who helped in final preparations for the trek, providing me with a local sim for Nepal, providing me with a duffle bag, down jacket, and a high-quality sleeping bag.
3. Providing me with a guide and a porter for the trip. I was the only person to have a guide and a porter. Everyone else only had a guide cum porter. 
4. Complete flexibility in the trip schedule. I could change the plan whenever I wanted. For e.g. if a particular day was too exhausting, I could take the next day as a rest day. 
5. Provided the best possible accommodation throughout the trip. This is not an assumption. I actually checked the other places at the locations of stay. The accommodation organized for me by Yolohike was the best in that location.
6. Continuously being in touch to ensure my well-being.
7. Changing my return ticket from Lukla to Kathmandu twice (no extra charge) due to me changing the plan twice. 
8. Providing me with fabulous trek completion certificates. I checked with other people who did the same trek. They either didn't get any certificate or got a rather mundane and boring looking certificate.
9. A heartwarming farewell by the entire Yolohike team, and a drop-off to the airport.

To summarise, Yolohike is not just about service for money. It is about the value they provide. They are a simply outstanding tour company. I have recommended them to several of my contacts, and I shall continue to trust in Yolohike for all my future trips to Nepal and Tibet.
