Our office reps will be on standby with our vehicle to receive you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu, and our signboard will be displaying Yolo Hikes outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel. This will be your first overnight in the ancient valley of temples (probably the most in the world) in the capital city of ancient Kathmandu.

Kathmandu is the traditional soul of Nepal and has been a well-known destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its borders to visitors. The city is a neat combination of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and Western influence in the Valley. After breakfast, we head to Kande which is about a 1-hour drive from Pokhara. Walking through the beautiful viewpoint of Pothana and Australian Camp trekkers reach Forest Camp. Packing the essentials for Mardi

Mardi Himal Trek is a short and easy trekking package. Packing for Mardi only needs to analyze the trekking season. the route and terrain are easy and marked. The clear sky and warm environment make trekking comfortable. you should not pack more than two layers instead in winter.

For day hiking, you can pack essentials like t-shirts, sweatshirts, and fleece jackets. a warm buffer jacket will prevent you from cold breezes during the morning and night. pair of Track pants, shorts, and warmers can go great for the lower body. Two extra pairs of undergarments and socks are more than essentials.

You can pack your charging equipment and Camera essentials for photography. Pack your toiletries like Tissue Paper, soap, and shampoo. A pack of sunscreen and a Hat is a great choice to save from direct sunlight.

make sure you pack your sleeping bag although you get a blanket in the accommodation.

How long is Mardi Himal Trek?

After the trial opened in 2012 for the visitor many tourists visited Mardi Himal. Trekkers have practiced the trekking itinerary ranging from 6 to 12 days. the shortest you can perform this trek is within a week and the longest it can extend is 12 days.

Mardi Himal Trek begins in Kande, 27 kilometers north of Pokhara. The hiking route continues to Australian Camp, Pothana, and Deurali. we will then elevate to Forest Camp, Low Camp, and Badal Danda also known as Middle Camp. The trail is a bit difficult while upgrading to High Camp, and Mardi Himal Base Camp.

After then, it turns around and goes from Low Camp to Siding Village. The Mardi Himal Trek has a total distance of 41 kilometers and 25 miles by walking.

Best Season for Mardi Himal Trek
