The Muktinath overland tour package is a very fulfilling tour to do in Nepal. It is both a religious as well as a leisurely holiday activity. Therefore, every penny spent by travelers gets returned wholesomely. Yolo Hike has knitted the itinerary of the Muktinath Tour in such a way that travelers will travel hassle-free.

The tour starts with holy Aarati at Pashupatinath Temple. It is one of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE Sites as well. If you have already visited Badrinath, Puri, Dwarka, and Rameswaram you must visit these at least once in a lifetime to this temple for holy completion. Such is the grandeur and significance of holy Pashupatinath. Evening prayer is the best activity inside the temple which you mustn't miss during your holiday in Nepal.

Travelers then start their Muktinath Overland Tour Package by traveling toward Pokhara. On the way to Pokhara, the visit to Manakamana Temple make the second day of the tour fulfilling. It is the visit of the holy Goddess Manakamana. The myth is that those who wish for something will get it wholeheartedly by the grace of the Goddess. There is another fascinating side to visiting Manakamana Temple. Travelers will be doing a cable car ride to and fro the temple which is located at the top of the hill. The scenic cable ride enhances the travel experience.

Driving along the Prithvi Highway passing by various cities travelers reach the lake city of Pokhara. This is the most beautiful and popular touristic destination in Nepal. The journey then extends towards Jomsom. The hilly road on the bank of Kaligandaki River is an adventure in itself. The gigantic waterfall (Rupse Waterfall), natural hot water springs (Tatopani), Marpha Village (apple farm village), and Tukuche (clustered Thakali Village) are the features of the journey on this day.

Muktinath Darshan

The Temple of Muktinath is holy as it is believed that those praying at the temple get heavenly salvation. There are 108 taps and two ponds (holy & sin) in the temple premise along with the main temple. Travelers also visit the monastery next to the temple. It is also proof of great religious harmony between Buddhism and Hinduism. Moreover, the scenic beauty of the area is magnificent. One can see over 1 dozen of mountain vistas as well as the cascading hills. This is in fact the photographer's paradise as well.

Pokhara sightseeing is done after returning back from Jomsom on a jeep. Another highlight of the Muktinath Jeep Tour is the sightseeing of Pokhara. Caves exploration, waterfalls, boating, and temple visits make the trip satisfyingly rejoicing.

In addition to the tour of Nepal's most visited tourist city Pokhara, travelers do sightseeing in Kathmandu. Visit of Jalnarayan (Lord Vishnu), Pashupatinath (Lord Shiva), Gujeshwori, and Bouddhanath (Lord Buddha) cleanses our spirit. It is indeed the most fulfilling activity to end the trip.

Book the Muktinath Jeep Tour with Yolo Hike. We care about your religious beliefs, values, and holidaying mood. Therefore, the itinerary is knitted in such a way that your holiday becomes the amalgamation of pilgrimage and leisure.

Passports and other travel documents

To enter Nepal, visitors from all countries except India must have a valid passport. If arriving by flight in Kathmandu, an Indian national must have a valid passport, Election Commission Card (Voter Id) with photo, or Identity Card provided by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, but if arriving by road or train, they can have an ID card granted by the Indian Government.

The school, birth certificate, or college ID is adequate for Indian children under the age of 18. The photo, name of the school or college, date of birth, and class in which the student is enrolled should all be plainly visible on the ID.

Visas

Nepal does not require a visa for Indian citizens. Most nationalities can receive a visa on arrival in Nepal, although tourists from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, and Afghanistan must apply for a visa ahead of time.

Validity

Tourist visas are available for a variety of periods of stay. If you want to get a visa on arrival, you'll need to fill out a landing card (most airlines provide these before landing in Kathmandu; if not, they'll be available at the airport), pay a fee (which varies depending on your length of stay), and bring a passport photo with you to show the immigration officers.

Note:

In a visa year, a tourist can stay for a maximum of 150 days.
If you're still unsure, check out the Department of Immigration's website or contact us for booking and inquiry at info@yolohike.com. We are always on service.
